Build a scarecrow for a chance at cash prizes!
- First Prize is $75
- Second Prize is $50
- Third Prize is $25
How to Enter
Entry forms are available:
- At our station trailer on the railroad tracks at our Oak Avenue Whistlestop boarding location in Folsom during Pumpkin Patch Flyer days.
- At Folsom RailFest
- By contacting us
Scarecrows may be dropped off at:
- Folsom RailFest on September 28-29
- “The Wye” (our storage yard) at 1302 Bidwell Street on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9am-2pm
- At our station trailer on the railroad tracks at our Oak Avenue Whistlestop boarding location in Folsom during Pumpkin Patch Flyer days.
Final judging will be Sunday, October 20th, but you can vote for your favorite at any Pumpkin Patch Flyer weekend in October. Passenger votes are half the score, so drop your scarecrow off by October 5th for maximum exposure!
Contest Rules:
- No taller than 6 feet
- 1 entry per family
- Scarecrow’s appearance appropriate for children
